OFFERING IN-PERSON SESSIONS
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a BA (Hons) in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I have over 18 years of experience providing psychotherapy in a hospital inpatient and outpatient setting. My focus has been on helping individuals work through issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, relationship issues, impulsive behaviors, life stressors, self-esteem and adjustment issues.
I believe everyone has the potential to create a fulfilling and worthwhile life. I am passionate about helping clients gain insight into their experiences, empowering them to develop the confidence to create meaningful change. My therapeutic style is compassionate, authentic, and nonjudgmental, fostering a strong, collaborative relationship where clients feel supported in their journey.
My practice is trauma-informed, and I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) with other approaches, including motivational interviewing, mindfulness, self-compassion and emotion-focused therapy. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs to provide a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.
