Dans ses motsJohn Fosty is our Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Practitioner. He received his specialist certification in Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) in 2017 and his RxMAT certification in 2021. He is ecstatically pleased to offer the newest form of MAT, the NueX MAT.
This MAT form uses electrostimulation along with rehabilitative exercises on targeted dysfunctional muscles and associated nerves to help establish a new muscle motor pattern.
Once the new muscle motor pattern is established, it must be practiced and repeated over time to replace the faulty compensatory pattern and restore the proper movement pattern as the default. This muscle re-training allows for the restoration of optimal muscle range of contraction, thus allowing the client to gain more strength, stability and greater flexibility. The ultimate result allows the patient to become more active with minimal pain. If you are looking for a long-term solution to muscle pain, MAT could be the game changer for you.
When John is not working on muscle activation techniques he can be found enjoying walks in the park while holding hands with his girlfriend, Lorrie.
