About Jordan
Jordan is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology.
Jordan believes in cultivating a mindset of resilience and hope, guiding you toward healing and connection. Grief can feel like a stone in your pocket; it may not go away, but over time, you can become stronger and more resilient. She understands how the burdens of trauma, abuse, illness, loss, shame, and disconnection can feel isolating and overwhelming.
Her focus is on healing the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. She helps you learn to calm your nervous system and build awareness of the protective strategies you may have adopted (fight, flight, freeze, fawn). Together, she creates a space to foster healing. Jordan uses a “bottom-up” approach, supporting healing of relational trauma through attachment theory and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, releasing trauma from the body using somatic psychology to help regulate the nervous system.
Jordan is a Master Accelerated Resolution Practitioner with advanced certification in trauma-informed training. Her approach is evidence-informed and trauma-sensitive, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS-Informed), emotional regulation skills, and attachment theory into each session. Additionally, she holds training in the Gottman Method for couples, supporting clients in strengthening communication, connection, and relationship functioning.
Jordan works with individuals (age 15+), couples, adults, and families. Her approach is focused on creating a secure, collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered, supported by compassionate understanding and practical tools to reduce distress, build resilience, and move toward meaningful healing and growth.
