Dans ses motsJoyce Yan holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the Université de Montréal and has been practicing within the Kinatex network since the beginning of her career. Over the years, she has developed a strong and in-depth clinical practice, supported by a continuous commitment to advanced professional development and evidence-based care.
She has advanced expertise in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, acquired through multiple specialized continuing education courses, enabling her to assess and treat complex pelvic and perineal conditions affecting women’s health. Her areas of practice include pelvic floor dysfunctions, perinatal care, and the prevention and rehabilitation of conditions related to physical activity and daily life.
In parallel, Joyce also practices in adult orthopedic physiotherapy and pediatrics, with a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of infants presenting with torticollis and plagiocephaly. Her comprehensive understanding of human movement and motor development allows her to deliver precise, safe, and age-appropriate interventions across the lifespan.
Her clinical approach is rigorous, focused on the patient, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on education, patient empowerment, and the integration of targeted functional exercises. A dancer since the age of five, Joyce has trained in ballet, contemporary dance, and other movement disciplines, and has participated in numerous stage performances. This background enriches her clinical practice through an advanced understanding of motor control, biomechanics, and performance, both in injury prevention and rehabilitation.

« During the initial consultation, the physiotherapist will gather all the necessary informations regarding your general health and your injury. The physiotherapist will perform a detailed physical assessement of your condition and will explain to you all the findings of the evaluation.
The physiotherapist will explain to you the treatment plan, the recommended frequency of follow-up appointments and will answer all your questions.
The physiotherapist will then begin the treatment plan and will prescribe you a therapeutic home exercise program.
