Juan Restrepo is a Registered Acupuncturist and graduate of Pacific Rim College who is passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and restore balance in their lives. With a unique background in aerospace and mechanical engineering, Juan combines analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the holistic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to provide personalized, evidence-informed care. His approach focuses on understanding each person as a whole, creating treatments that support both immediate concerns and long-term health. Juan has advanced training in musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions and was a Teaching Assistant for the Orthopedic Acupuncture class at Pacific Rim College, supporting students in the development of clinical skills and techniques. His experience in orthopedic acupuncture allows him to help clients with pain management, injury recovery, mobility challenges, and performance-related concerns. As an ultrarunner, Juan brings firsthand experience with endurance, recovery, resilience, and the physical demands placed on the body. This personal understanding enhances his approach to supporting athletes, active individuals, and anyone looking to improve their movement, recovery, and overall well-being. Combining the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with advanced training in orthopedic acupuncture and musculoskeletal care, Juan supports clients experiencing chronic pain, injuries, stress, anxiety, tension, fatigue, and a variety of health concerns. His treatments are designed to encourage the body's natural healing processes while addressing patterns of imbalance that may contribute to symptoms. Juan’s treatments may include acupuncture, orthopedic acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na therapy, Medical Qi Gong, cosmetic acupuncture, and the NADA protocol for addiction recovery and emotional support. Juan offers appointments in English, French, and Spanish, allowing him to provide care to a diverse community.
