À propos de Judit
Dans ses motsJudit Orban, Physiotherapist has a special clinical interest in helping people with complex, chronic conditions including connective tissue disorders, spinal conditions (scoliosis, kyphosis, surgical rehabilitation), hypermobility spectrum disorders, Long Covid, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
Following her graduation as a Physiotherapist from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Judit has worked in various Clinics in Hungary and in Canada in the areas of acute and chronic pain, and orthopaedics.
Initially, her area of focus has been idiopathic, neuromuscular and degenerative spinal conditions (such as Scoliosis, Kyphosis and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome); and she deepened her knowledge by completing the German Asklepios Katherina Schroth Clinic’s International Schroth course. In 2014, Judit presented at the SOSORT Conference for non-operative management of scoliosis and structural spine changes in Wiesbaden, Germany. Since then, she contributed to multiple scoliosis and kyphosis specific research and conference presentations.
Working at Diane Lee & Associates Physiotherapy in British Columbia (Canada), Judit learned the Integrated Systems Model. This unique lense of physiotherapy offers a ‘functional approach that requires an understanding of how the whole body functions and how certain problems can impact other regions of the body. It also requires an understanding of how the things you feel, and believe, about your current experience can impact your function’.
Since the pandemic her interest has been shifted towards complex, chronic conditions.
Judit also started working with Dr. Arseneau, a specialist in internal medicine with expertise in ME/CFS, FM, Long COVID; offering group medical visits for patients suffering from these conditions.
Her treatment is also influenced by Lymphatic and Vascular Mobilization, various forms of Manual Therapy, neural mobilization to name a few.
Her goal during a physiotherapy treatment session is to hold a safe space where therapist and client can create meaningful connections while learning healthy lifestyle changes and understanding how capable their body is.
