About Julia
Precision Meets Flow: The Path of an Integrative Healer
With a career spanning over two decades in the construction industry as a Project Manager, Julia
MacPherson understands the importance of a solid foundation. Since 2011, she has operated
MEG Consulting & Project Management Inc., but in 2014, a deeper calling emerged: a passion
for healing that would eventually lead her across the globe and back again.
Julia’s journey into the healing arts began in Dartmouth, NS, where she first studied astrology
and energy work. This curiosity blossomed into a decade of intensive training. She became a
Usui Reiki practitioner in 2017 and traveled to Glastonbury, England, in 2019 to study under
William Rand, becoming a Holy Fire® Reiki Master. Her toolkit expanded further with
certifications in Cupping (2018) and Reflexology (2020), where she holds the RCRT designation
with the Reflexology Association of Canada.
In 2020, Julia embarked on her most rigorous academic path yet: Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Even a move to Grand Cayman in 2021 couldn't stall her progress; she managed major projects
in the Caribbean by day while mastering TCM theory by night. Returning to Nova Scotia in 2024
to complete her clinical residency, she graduated with her Diploma in TCM Acupuncture in
August 2025 and is now a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the CTCMPAO in Ontario.
As a single mother who raised an incredible daughter while building businesses and studying
medicine, Julia brings a profound sense of empathy and strength to her practice. She believes
that by alleviating pain and restoring vitality, she can spread joy—one human at a time. To Julia,
healing is alchemical: it is the process of taking the lead of physical suffering and turning it into
the gold of a life lived fully.
Personal Mission
The "Joy Spreader" Philosophy
For 20 years, I built structures. As a Project Manager and business owner, I learned how to
manage complexity, solve problems, and ensure every detail was perfect. But in 2014, I realized
that while I was good at building buildings, my true passion was helping people rebuild
themselves.
My path hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been a beautiful, winding journey from the forests of
Nova Scotia to the beaches of Grand Cayman. Today, I call Ontario home. When I’m not in the
clinic, you’ll find me strength training, practicing yoga, or hiking. Nature is my sanctuary,
whether it’s the deep woods or the shore of the ocean.
I am a "Joy Spreader." I believe that when someone feels good—when their pain is gone or their
spirit is lifted—they carry that light back out into the world. My mission is to change the world
by helping one human at a time.
