About Julia
As a mom of four, a teacher, and a counsellor, I understand how heavy life can feel when you’re trying to manage everything at once. I started my career in education, but I kept feeling pulled toward supporting people in a more personal and meaningful way. That led me to complete my Master’s in Counselling Psychology and become a Registered Clinical Counsellor.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I focus on creating a space where you can show up as you are and feel genuinely heard. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and solution-focused. We will talk through what’s going on, and we will also work on real, practical ways to help you feel more in control and move forward.
I often support clients who are dealing with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, relationship and communication challenges, and big life transitions. I also work with couples who want to reconnect, communicate better, or work through patterns that keep getting in the way.
It’s important to me that everyone feels welcome, so I offer an inclusive and affirming space for people of all genders and sexual orientations. I know life is busy and full, so I offer virtual sessions with evening and weekend availability to make things a little easier. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Additional trainings and certifications include: ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) Certification (in progress), Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1, Anger Management Training, and Domestic Violence Safety Planning Training.
