Dans ses motsHi, I'm Julia (Zhu, Ya) Gabriel, a Registered Acupuncturist practicing Classical Chinese Medicine and Balance Method Acupuncture.
My approach begins with understanding the body as an interconnected whole rather than treating symptoms in isolation. Every treatment is individualized, using pulse and tongue assessment to understand your current pattern and support the body's natural ability to regulate, adapt, and restore balance.
I commonly support people seeking care for pain, stress, emotional well-being, sleep concerns, digestive health, women's health, men's health, respiratory conditions, and a wide range of ongoing health concerns.
While Classical Chinese Medicine remains the foundation of my practice, many years of independent study in psychology, nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and personal growth have helped me explore its principles from different perspectives. Rather than changing how I practise, these studies have deepened my understanding of how Classical Chinese Medicine relates to the ways people experience stress, adaptation, emotions, and physical health today.
My goal is not simply to address a diagnosis or isolated symptom, but to understand the broader pattern behind what the body is expressing and support its natural ability to heal.
