About Julianne
Hi, I’m Julianne (she/her), a psychotherapist based in Winnipeg.
I am currently accepting clients in-person/virtual on Monday evenings.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can arise when life unfolds differently than expected. I also have a particular passion for supporting people through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and reproductive journeys.
My passion for this work is rooted in both specialized perinatal and grief mental health training and in witnessing the profound realities of fertility challenges, loss, and the transition to parenthood in the lives of those around me.
I am especially passionate about supporting people whose relationship with their bodies has changed through infertility, pregnancy, loss, postpartum recovery, injury, or other major life transitions. Many of the clients I work with are active women, athletes, and high-achieving individuals who find themselves grieving the loss of movement, strength, performance, routine, or identity that once felt central to who they were. Whether you're navigating fertility treatments, pregnancy complications, birth recovery, returning to exercise postpartum, or adjusting to a body that feels unfamiliar, therapy can provide a space to process these changes, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater confidence and self-compassion.
I also enjoy working with university students, athletes, and young professionals navigating academic pressures, performance demands, career uncertainty, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. With a background in mathematics and experience in STEM environments, I understand the unique pressures that can come with high-performance spaces and the expectation to always have it together.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful change. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental space where we work together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that fit your life.
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions across Manitoba and Canada. As a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), sessions with me are covered by most extended health benefit plans, including many post-secondary student health insurance plans.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, grieving, navigating a major transition, or simply looking for more than survival mode, you're welcome here.
