Justin is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in Davao Doctors College in 2014. He worked as a clinician and academician for three years in the Philippines prior to moving to Canada in 2018.
He has worked across many different settings: private clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities, and worked with many different conditions and populations. He specializes in working with patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions and has worked with them at different stages of their recovery process: from pre-operative to post-operative, from acute to chronic.
Justin loves working with his hands to assess and treat his patients. He believes that collaborating with the patient is key to their recovery. Physiotherapy is a two-way street. It should always start and end with the patient, with the therapist guiding their every step.
Outside of work, Justin loves hanging out with friends and family, playing video games or board games, or singing karaoke. He enjoys going for a hike or a run. He also spends a lot of time in the kitchen trying out new recipes. One of his life goals is to travel to as many places as he can.
