In their own words
Karen is a deeply intuitive and compassionate Certified Sound Facilitator, Restorative, Prenatal and Mom and Baby Yoga Teacher. Her mission is to help others, both adults and children, tap into their innate potential through the transformative power of movement, meditation, breath, and sound.
A true yogi at heart, Karen brings over 400 hours of formal yoga training to her teaching, having completed both a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) program and a 200-hour Kundalini Yoga training. She specializes in Kundalini, Restorative, Children’s Yoga, Pre Natal Yoga and Meditation, offering a grounded yet expansive approach to wellness that meets individuals exactly where they are.
Karen’s passion for sound healing is at the heart of her work. She completed her 100-hour Sound Therapy Training through the Institute of Traditional Medicine and is a Certified Sound Facilitator. Her sound sessions integrate instruments such as crystal bowls, a spirit drum and chimes to create deeply calming and harmonizing experiences that support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and inner clarity.
Karen is also certified in Reiki Level One, incorporating the principles of energy healing into her holistic approach to wellness and supporting clients in cultivating balance, relaxation, and inner harmony.
To deepen her understanding of holistic healing and self-discovery, Karen has also taken courses in the Discovering The Total Self Program at the Transformational Arts College, which have further enriched her integrative approach to wellness.
Karen creates inclusive, heart-centered spaces where people can build confidence, compassion, self-awareness, and resilience. Whether guiding a restorative yoga class, leading a prenatal session, or facilitating a meditative sound bath, she invites students to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with their true selves.
Through yoga, mindfulness, and sound, Karen inspires others to heal, grow, and open to new possibilities—both on and off the mat.
