À propos de Karly

FOR NEW PATIENTS : when booking a new assessment, it is highly recommended that you book at least one follow up appt approx 7-10 days after your initial session. If it turns out that this is not needed, adjustments can be made. This will help ensure continuity of care.
*ALL PATIENTS* : Please note that I only open my schedule for booking approximately 2 months in advance. If you do not see appts available beyond a specific date it is likely because I am fully booked for the next two months and have not yet opened up my schedule beyond this. I encourage you to keep checking back regularly for new spots. In addition, you can add your name to my wait list.
ABOUT ME: My passion is helping people learn how to move better and to be able to do the activities they love freely. I strongly believe in empowering my clients and providing them with the knowledge and tools to help manage any of their concerns.
While I work with and treat a wide range of clients and conditions, my area of interest and speciality is working with runners of all levels with lower extremity and running related injuries.

“I originally saw Karly for support with an old foot injury. She was phenomenal at determining a probable mechanism of injury right away and coming up with strategies to rehabilitate it. What I thought was just going to be a few physio sessions to address my foot turned into a key partnership as I focus on building myself into a stronger human and athlete. Karly has helped me understand my body better and has come up with creative tactics to address my weaknesses and develop my athletic base. Finally, Karly always takes the time to make sure I understand why things are the way they are and how we might be able to improve them. Her patience and ability to explain technical information is unparalleled. I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful physio (and human!) on my health care team.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I am seriously impressed with the experience I have had with Karly Foster as my therapist and with Twin Bridges overall. The past several months have been incredibly difficult for me in managing the pain and limitations associated with my injury. Karly has been so steady and brilliant in her guidance and commitment along the way. Our sessions have been really beneficial and I’ve so appreciated the way she checks in via email in between sessions. I’m so grateful for the support of Karly, Christina and Jackie during my recovery!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I started working with Karly 4 years ago for posterior tibialis tendonitis that left me unable to run. She was the third physiotherapist I had seen but it was clear from the start that her approach was unique. Instead of applying a "Band-Aid fix", she evaluated my running gait, assessed muscle imbalances, and was able to diagnose the root cause on the first session. She sent me home with exercises that addressed the root of the injury but still made time for pain relief at the end of the session. Despite making a full recovery, I still visit Karly regularly so that I can benefit from her expertise and wealth of knowledge. She regularly cites current research and is able to build plans focused on injury prevention that have helped me unlock a higher level of performance. She always takes the time to ensure that I understand how my tendons and muscles interact, leaving me feeling more educated and able to make smarter training decisions. As a talented athlete herself, Karly is always very pragmatic about the return to activity plans. I can't recommend Karly enough, she's an absolute legend of physiotherapist in my eyes.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Karly is great! After seeing several physios and chiros for my chronic Achilles tendon issues, Karly reached out and offered to help me get back on my feet. When I first started seeing Karly, I literally couldn't walk across the grocery store parking lot most days. Now, with Karly's guidance, I'm carefully getting back to running. I appreciate Karly's running-specific expertise and her support throughout. Its clear that she knows what she's doing and cares about her clients!”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Karly is devout to her work and even more devout to her patients. She works hard to accommodate appointments that work for her clients and their health and well being is her number one priority. She has a great bedside manner and personality but is also direct in what you should and shouldn't do for treatment. She is constantly learning and maintaining a progressive approach to treatment, always acknowledging new findings in the health and exercise community. The IMS she has administered to me yielded to more drastic and immediate results for gained range of motion I have ever experienced of any treatment. She is one of the best physiotherapists I have ever worked with and am VERY lucky to have found her and followed her to her private practice.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“Karly is by far the best physio I have tried. She has helped me with a range of different issues from running to postpartum recovery. She is very knowledgeable about the body, and I always trust she will help me get back on track with whatever goals I have. I have recommended her to friends and family with rave reviews.”Lire la suiteRéduire

“I have been seeing Karly for a variety of injuries for just over two years now. She is INCREDIBLY good at her job! She has a vast skill set and is proficient in different techniques. She has a remarkable knowledge base, and takes as much time as she needs to be thorough. I always feel like Karly genuinely cares about my treatment success; she goes out of her way to ensure everything is working by connecting with me after appointments and providing me with extra resources and information. She is super accommodating with her schedule and her time. PLUS she is just a fabulous person! Spending an hour in a room chatting with her is half the reason I go see her! Anyone I have referred to her has come away feeling the same way. Highly recommended!”Lire la suiteRéduire
