Since completing her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2016, Karyn has worked in private practice orthopaedic settings treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions for clients of all ages and fitness levels.
Her therapeutic approach prioritizes education, mindfulness and tailored exercise to ensure clients feel comfortable, empowered and considered as they navigate towards their therapeutic goals.
Karyn is certified in intramuscular stimulation (IMS) also known as functional dry needling, pilates (STOTT) mat-based rehabilitation, and Canadian Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Level 2. She has a strong love of anatomy and physiology and teaches both subjects in the Kinesiology Department.
