About Kate
Kathlene completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Alberta in 2021 and is a registered member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. She has over four years of experience supporting individuals recovering from concussions and a variety of orthopaedic and neurological injuries, including those resulting from motor vehicle accidents, sports and workplace incidents.
She specializes in post-concussion and neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on helping clients return safely and confidently to daily life, work, and recreation. She also promotes active lifestyles and aims to optimize overall functional capacity to support individuals in performing at their highest potential. Kathlene values clear communication, education, and individualized care, and aims to support clients in taking an active role in their recovery.
Drawing from both clinical experience and personal experience with concussion and sport-related injuries, she takes a calm, patient-centred approach. She integrates vestibular and balance training, dual-task exercises, and progressive strengthening to support recovery at a manageable pace.
In her free time, Kathlene enjoys staying active through dance (current favourites Latin and hip hop), travelling, weight training, playing sports such as tennis, volleyball, badminton, and pickleball, and exploring the city on foot.
