Dans ses motsAt Counter Current, we work with individuals of all ages who feel stuck - offering a space to explore what’s getting in the way without judgment, and without pretending everything’s fine. Our approach isn’t about fixing you or tossing out the strategies you’ve developed to survive. It’s about honouring your resilience, filling in the gaps, and building new tools so life feels less hard. We specialize in helping people move from rigidity to flexibility, from stuckness to flow, healing the wounds that keep old patterns in place and making room for more spontaneity, authenticity, and ease.
As a Gestalt (and a no-bullshit) practice, we show up fully and authentically. Therapy with us is collaborative, real, and rooted in the belief that open wounds keep us stuck, but scars are stories, and they don’t have to hold us back. We work often with teens (especially LGBTQ+ and trans youth) and deeply value working with the whole family ecosystem when needed.
