Dans ses motsAreas of interest include: I welcome clients with any musculoskeletal concerns, from head to toe. Whether you're seeking support for jaw (TMJ) pain, headaches, neck or back discomfort, or issues involving the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, or feet—I am here to help.
In addition, I have a strong clinical focus in female pelvic health physiotherapy, supporting individuals through all stages of life. I work with clients experiencing pregnancy-related pain, postpartum recovery, birth prep, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and post-menopausal changes. I also work with patients who are looking for pre-natal preventative pelvic floor physiotherapy and birth prep. My approach is always tailored, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based care.
I am certified in Dry Needling (Levels 1 & 2) and often incorporate this technique, along with manual therapy and exercise, to help reduce pain and improve function.
About Katy: Hello, I’m Katy—a dedicated physiotherapist and graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta.
My treatment style is holistic and collaborative, combining therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and dry needling to address your unique concerns. Whether you're dealing with musculoskeletal injuries or pelvic health issues, I aim to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where you feel truly heard and empowered in your care.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide range of clinical settings—from neurological rehabilitation at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital to private practice physiotherapy for injuries like low back pain, whiplash, ACL tears, and rotator cuff issues.
In addition to my practice at Park Integrative Health, I also work as a physiotherapist in the ICU at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and as a fitness instructor.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me playing soccer, out for a run, or exploring new food spots in Edmonton.
I look forward to helping you not only find short-term relief but also achieve long-term health and well-being—whether that’s through pelvic health support, pain management, or injury rehabilitation.
