Life can be messy, difficult, and complicated. Do your emotions overwhelm you? Is anxiety ruling your life? Are you struggling with the loss of something or someone?
Life and its challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, powerless. Whether it is burnout, anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, or loss; one thing is certain: it can feel overwhelming to know how to move past a troubling event or disengage from destructive thinking patterns and behaviours on our own.
Therapy offers a space to untangle discomfort, build resilience and increase skills - so that you can focus on creating the life you want. I work individually with adults, focusing on symptom reduction, emotional resiliency and increasing your internal sense of power…always with compassion and a sprinkle of humour. Let’s get started!

##Personal Qualities / Strengths as a Counsellor##
I am an empowerment-focused social worker dedicated to creating a safe, positive, and caring environment. My passion is to create connection and safe spaces where we can explore how your existing resources, resilience and sense of agency can be leveraged to inspire personal growth and work towards empowerment and change.
I relocated to Prince George in 2015 to attend the University of Northern British Columbia and quickly felt a deep connection with the people and the land. I acknowledge with great respect and humility that the land on which my family and I learn, work and play is on the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, and part of the Dakelh (Carrier) peoples' territory.
