About Kelly
MACP, CCC
Kelly holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and is currently offering in-person and virtual counselling sessions. She also facilitates Behavioural Health Business Development at our clinic. Due to her professional experiences and qualifications, Kelly offers a unique therapeutic perspective based on the convergence of mental and physical health. Working from a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, she helps clients embrace and explore their emotions, develop coping strategies and build the skills they need to tackle life’s challenges.
Kelly’s multi-modal approach to therapeutic intervention is uniquely developed for each client. She has a passion for working with a wide range of concerns from adolescence to older adulthood, including general women’s health, sports performance, perinatal wellness, perimenopause/menopause transition, parenting/marital challenges, body image, chronic illness, anxiety, stress, trauma, and managing difficult life transitions. With an extensive background in health, fitness, education, and high-performance athletics, Kelly deeply values the reciprocal relationship between body and mind. She is currently accepting new clients for individual, couples, and group counselling services.
While not in the clinic, Kelly enjoys a busy family life with her husband and three children, teaching group fitness classes, spending time in the mountains, and travelling “home” to the Maritimes once a year. She’s also a passionate supporter of women’s professional soccer and the Canadian National Team.
Please note: while Kelly’s services as a CCC are covered by many insurance providers, individual coverage varies. As such, please confirm your eligibility with your respective provider.
