Dans ses motsKendra graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015 with her Master’s of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After graduation she started work in private practice treating an orthopedic caseload, she joined the Smithwick’s Physiotherapy crew in 2019. Kendra works with clients of all ages including work related, motor vehicle, fractures, and chronic pain though she particularly enjoys treating children, adolescents, and young adults with sport related injuries. Kendra is currently working towards obtaining her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy taking courses through the Orthopedic Division syllabus. She has also undergone training in Balance and Dizziness assessment. Kendra is a member or the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and a member of the Orthopedic Division of the CPA.
When she is not at the clinic Kendra enjoys getting out with family and friends for a round of golf or a kayak or paddle board on the river, and in the winter checks out all the new exercise options in the city including spin class and rowing. She also has a passion for travel both near, such as heading out the lake, and as far as Japan.

« This appointment is up to 1 hour in length and will be used to assess your injury following a motor vehicle accident. Your physiotherapist will determine how many per week but expect 2 to 3 appointments per week.
Smithwick's Physiotherapy is accredited with Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) to assess and treat clients that have been injured in a motor vehicle accident (MVA).
YOUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST WILL PROVIDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
- assessment and treatment of the injured region.
- education about your injury, time frames for recovery, and management strategies.
- all written and verbal communication with SGI, your Physician, and your employer if applicable.
- exercise prescription to deliver mobility, stretching, or strengthening exercises.
- secondary rehabilitation plans, including care from a multidisciplinary team when indicated.
We provide care to a high volume of SGI funded clients annually, thus we have considerable experience treating injuries related to a motor vehicle accident, and in managing the SGI file within the parameters laid out by the insurer.
We are approved to bill directly to SGI, removing that responsibility from you. Please contact us if you have further questions regarding SGI procedures, or to book an appointment.

« This appointment is up to 40 minutes in length and is to only be booked if you have already had your assessment as these are your weekly treatment appointments. Your physiotherapist will determine how many per week but expect 2 to 3 per week.

This appointment is for patients that need a little longer appointment (Physio will determine) It will sometimes also be used to cover two different body parts that have both already been assessed by their physio in previous appointments in one longer appointment that allows extra time for two issues.

« Smithwick's Physiotherapy provides a high volume of service to injured workers. We are well experienced with WCB policies and procedures, and the WCB's Early Intervention Program.
YOUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST WILL PROVIDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
- assessment and treatment of your injury.
- education about your injury, expected recovery times, and management.
- development of a regional exercise program, progressing into global body and functional (work requirement) conditioning if required. A physiotherapist will prescribe and monitor all education and conditioning throughout the program.
- all written communication to the WCB and your employer.
- all initial return to work (RTW) allowances, and graduated RTW progressions as required.
Appointments will be up to 1 hour in length.
