About Khanjan
Khanjan is a Registered Psychologist and EMDR trauma therapist. She works with youth (16+) and adults and provides a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected.
Khanjan can help with trauma and PTSD (e.g., caused by motor vehicle accidents, abuse, injury, natural disasters), chronic pain, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. She supports clients in understanding the connection between mind and body, especially when living with ongoing health concerns or persistent pain. Using evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she helps clients build practical coping strategies while also addressing the deeper roots of emotional distress.
If you are navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, cultural or family pressures, or major life changes, Khanjan works collaboratively with you to clarify your goals and create meaningful, lasting change.
Khanjan is an approved provider for the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program through Indigenous Services Canada. She welcomes First Nations and Inuit clients who have NIHB coverage and can offer direct billing for eligible counselling and psychotherapy services. If you are searching for an NIHB approved psychologist, NIHB direct billing counselling, or a psychologist who accepts NIHB coverage, Khanjan is able to provide services under this program.
