Growing up as a competitive soccer player in the West-Island, Kim was first exposed to physiotherapy at a young age for various sports-related injuries. As such, she has an affinity for treating athletic injuries.
Following her interest in physical activity, Kim graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology in 2012. After working in the field for a year, she returned to McGill and obtained her M.Sc. in physiotherapy in 2015. Over the course of her studies, Kim developed a passion for treating problems related to the pelvic floor, and completed several courses and certifications post-graduations to further her knowledge in this domain. Kim is proficient in treating urinary dysfunction in both men and women, but has a special interest in treating pelvic pain syndromes.
When you consult with Kim, you can expect a dynamic, yet empathetic approach, with an emphasis on patient education, postural advice and proper movement patterns. As a physiotherapist with an expertise in pelvic floor rehabilitation, Kim uses a combination of manual techniques, biofeedback, muscle stimulation and home exercise to ensure optimal results.
