“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
How do you believe counselling can help?
Counselling provides a safe and supportive space to explore challenges, gain new perspectives, and develop practical strategies for coping and growth. I believe it helps clients connect with their inner strengths, improve relationships, and move toward living in alignment with their values and goals.
Your approach to counselling:
My approach is relational, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I integrate these tools with an attachment-focused perspective to support both healing and long-term resilience.
Kip’s interaction style is gentle and laid-back. He uses humour in sessions when appropriate.
