Medical QiGong w/ Bryana Hope
« This 1hr class will be a preview of the class series to be offered in the fall. We will harmonize the Qi flow in the body with meditative movements, healing sounds and visualizations. We will learn about the 5 elements and specific exercises to treat each one. »Active Rehab
« Please come 5 min early and bring indoor shoes for this active session. Yoga attire/gym workout clothes recommended.
Please arrive at the back-door entrance in the alleyway to the Velvet Underground Studio. »ELDOA - Peak Mobility Class
« This class is designed as a work-IN rather than a traditional workout—focusing on building internal strength, stability, and mobility. You’ll explore foundational movement training and enhance both joint and nervous system function through two powerful techniques: DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) and ELDOA.
So, what is ELDOA?
ELDOA stands for Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation Stretches—a series of precise postural exercises aimed at creating space within specific joints in the body. These movements help decompress the spine, improve joint alignment, increase circulation, reduce pain, rehydrate spinal discs, enhance muscle tone, and improve posture. Most importantly, they promote a deeper connection to your body and an overall sense of well-being »Summer Solstice Celtic Yoga Workshop
« The Summer Solstice has always been a time of welcoming the Sun and its warmth as we celebrate the longest day of light. Our ancestors have long gathered to commemorate this shift of season and bhava (energy/mood) with remembrance and gratitude. We’ll walk in their footsteps as we weave together the symbolism of this potent portal and experience its fullness within our own skin. Skillful biomechanics, precise alignment, movement with breath, and practices that honor the light—inside and out—will fashion the tapestry we interlace, each gesture a reminder of the power held at this inspiring time. Practice will include warm-ups, standing postures, hip and heart openers, as well as space for integrating the deeper meaning of the Solstice. I hope to see you there! »treatmentFollow-up

BFR Rehab/Training
« Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training is one of the most exciting advances in modern physiotherapy. Using specialized cuffs to gently restrict blood flow, BFR allows you to build strength and muscle using very light weights—making it ideal for injury rehab and post-surgical recovery. Clients love it for its ability to accelerate strength gains, reduce joint stress, and safely improve muscle size and endurance.
BFR is especially beneficial for active adults, athletes, and anyone limited by pain or loading restrictions. Delivered by licensed physiotherapists with individualized settings and close supervision, it’s a safe, effective way to make meaningful progress—especially when you’ve been told to “take it easy” but still want results. »Doctor LetterNew patient
