- Specialized Couples Therapy training and experience using The Gottman Method
- Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) Certified
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Certified
- DBT with Reactive or High Conflict Couples Certified (Dr. Alan E. Fruzzetti)
- Certified in Child & Adolescent Functioning Assessment Scale (CAFAS)
- Knowledgeable and experienced in different counselling modalities and approaches (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy etc.)
- Worked with clients with varied life challenges such as: self-harm, suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) clients, addictions, body dysphoria, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, PTSD, trauma, relationship/family conflict
- Expertise in assessments, identifying needs, and developing action plans to begin the recovery journey
- Excellent knowledge of the Anti-Oppression approaches
- Knowledge and understanding of the Children’s Family Services Act (CFSA)
