Kristen is a physiotherapist and pelvic floor therapist with a passionate interest in pelvic floor health and dance. Kristen completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto and a Master of Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University in England. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, she wanted to pursue a future in dance. However, several injuries and traveling the world with a backpack revealed the importance of receiving treatment from a practitioner who related to her world. She is passionate about holistic health education and creating self-management practices so that her clients can thrive and become the best versions of themselves. Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Pessary SessionNew patient

« _This session requires a doctor's prescription for a pessary prior to booking. _ A pelvic floor physiotherapy pessary session is a specialized appointment to fit a pessary device. A pessary is a medical silicone device that is inserted vaginally to help manage symptoms of prolapse or stress urinary incontinence. The session is performed by a pelvic health therapist who has done additional certification in pessary fitting and management of a pessary. The session will involve a history taking, assessment and fitting as well as other pelvic health treatment as necessary. It make take a couple of trials to find the pessary that is the best fit for you. The pessary device is billed separately from the session. and requires a prescription from a doctor. The device may be covered under extended healthcare benefits. »
