Dans ses motsLaura combines her clinical expertise with her personal experience of injury to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care tailored to each individual's needs and goals.
Laura is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She grew up participating in competitive gymnastics and competed in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Ontario Provincial Championships. Her athletic background fostered a deep appreciation for movement and gave her firsthand insight into the physical and emotional challenges that can accompany injury. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy, where she could help others return to the activities that matter most to them.
Laura completed her undergraduate education at the University of Guelph-Humber, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology along with a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She later pursued her physiotherapy education in the United Kingdom, graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from Leeds Beckett University.
Throughout her education and clinical practice, Laura gained experience working within the United Kingdom's National Health Service (NHS) and in Ontario private practice. She has worked with a diverse range of clients, from active individuals to older adults, treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Laura believes in providing individualized, evidence-informed care that is tailored to each person's goals. Her treatment approach combines exercise, manual therapy, cupping, and education to encourage active participation with recovery.
