Laura Nifo, RMT, Acupuncture, Cupping Specialist
Laura loves the outdoors and volunteering at the local library. She lives a healthy lifestyle and helps others to do the same. She graduated with honors from the Massage Therapy Program at Bryan College.
Laura's clients can attest to her skills in relaxation and deep tissue massage incorporating myofascial release techniques to treat skeletal muscle immobility and chronic pain in the tissues.
In addition to massage therapy, Laura uses acupuncture and cupping to assist in treating her clients' needs. She is passionate about continuing her learning in Chinese Medicine and looks forward to a lifelong study of this subject.

« A personalized 60-minute massage focused on relieving pain, reducing muscle tension, improving mobility, and promoting relaxation. Each treatment is customized to your individual needs using a variety of hands-on massage therapy techniques, whether you’re seeking deep tissue work, therapeutic treatment, or a more relaxing massage.
This appointment is massage only and does not include advanced therapeutic modalities such as acupuncture, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy (scraping), ultrasound, hot or cold therapy or stretching.

Advanced Therapeutic Massage - (can include any number of added modalities)
« Exclusively offered by Laura, this fully customized treatment is designed to address your unique needs and help you move, feel, and function at your best. Combining Registered Massage Therapy with a variety of advanced therapeutic techniques, each session is tailored based on your assessment, goals, and how your body presents on the day of treatment.
Your treatment may include:
• Therapeutic massage
• Deep tissue massage
• Cupping therapy
• Acupuncture (when appropriate)
• Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (scraping/Gua Sha)
• Facial and TMJ (jaw) release
• Assisted stretching and joint mobilization
• Hot and cold therapy
• Therapeutic ultrasound
• Trigger point therapy
• Myofascial techniques
No two treatments are ever the same. Laura will select the combination of techniques that best supports your recovery, reduces pain, improves mobility, and helps you achieve your wellness goals.
This treatment is ideal for chronic pain, muscle tension, sports injuries, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, restricted mobility, postural concerns, and anyone seeking a comprehensive, results-focused therapeutic treatment.

Massage Basics Workshop
« This is a fun interactive hands on experience. This workshop is 90 minutes long and starts with a little bit of theory learning everything you need to know to give a great relaxation massage. The workshop finishes with you and partner practicing your new skills in your own private massage room. Lots of one on one guidance from a registered massage therapist. Must sign up with a friend, family member or partner. The cost of the workshop is $180+hst. Its a lot of fun! »
