Lauren Cowley
À propos de Lauren
Dans ses motsPicture a sacred space of human connection that invites you to make room for the complexity of emotion, and move towards what you define as a meaningful life. In our sessions, I invite you to cozy up with a warm cup of tea, slow down, and reconnect with yourself, practicing self-acceptance through exploration. From a place of gentleness and curiosity, I aim to help you navigate the thoughts, feelings, and sensations that seem too big to carry alone. Because, let's keep it real, being human is hard, and I believe that healing begins with the permission to embrace our messy, imperfect selves.
My background in yoga and professional sports informs my therapy style where we explore the mind-body connection to make sense of what we think and believe, and what we feel and experience. Healing is multi-faceted and I tailor the sessions to the individual, including the opportunity (if it fits) to utilize creativity, art, movement, & mindfulness.
Embracing a holistic perspective, I believe that relationships are vital to our well-being, and can bring us back home to ourselves. Whether that is through building trust and setting boundaries, building a tool kit to manage challenges (eg. stress, loss, anxiety), increasing self-esteem, or healing your relationships, I hope you reach out. I'd love to meet you.
