About Lauren
Lauren is a registered Occupational Therapist with a Master’s degree in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph. Lauren brings varied experience working with children, adults, and older adults. This breadth of experience provides her with a well-rounded understanding of development, function, and independence at every stage of life.
In her pediatric practice, Lauren supports children in developing essential skills for daily life, including play, self-care, school participation, sensory and emotional regulation. She creates tailored, engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based and play-based approaches, always honouring each child’s unique strengths and needs.
Lauren values close collaboration with families and caregivers, recognizing that meaningful progress is achieved when therapy extends beyond the clinic into everyday routines. Her experience across diverse settings and age groups informs a holistic approach, that not only supports skill development, but also confidence, participation, and long-term success.
Above all, Lauren is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to grow, explore, and thrive.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren maintains an active lifestyle through rock climbing, dancing, hiking, and rollerblading. She also finds joy in reading, listening to music, and watching movies.
