Dans ses motsLaurie graduated from the University of Alberta in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Since graduating she has worked in private practice treating patients with a variety of injuries from sports injuries, motor vehicle-related injuries, chronic pain and other soft tissue injuries. Laurie has taken many post graduate courses in order to better treat her patients: Gunn IMS, Acupuncture, neuroproprioceptive taping, manual therapy, pregnancy related pain problems, and running analysis education are just a few techniques that she uses. She has a special interest in treating chronic pain, sports related injuries, and is an advocate and speaker on running related issues. Outside of work Laurie is a very active mom, to date has completed 6 Ironman races, is a CrossFit enthusiast, and enjoys running and spending time with her family outdoors.
