About Leah
I believe that our environment and life experiences play a powerful role in shaping who we are. The relationships we build, the challenges we face, and the stories we carry influence how we see ourselves and move through the world. At the same time, I believe people are not defined solely by their past. Through inner strength, self-awareness, and support, we have the capacity to grow, heal, and become the people we want to be.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that growth often comes through adversity. I work with clients to explore the experiences that have shaped them while building on their strengths, resilience, and ability to create meaningful change. Together, we focus on developing insight, fostering emotional well-being, and empowerment to move toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
I work with individuals and couples, offering a supportive space to explore challenges and strengthen relationships. I have experience helping couples navigate conflict, rebuild connection, and deepen understanding through an attachment-based lens.
My approach integrates training in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), polyvagal-informed practice, somatic healing, and Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT). I view therapy as a collaborative process and focus on how emotional patterns, nervous system responses, and past experiences shape current relationships.
My style is warm, practical, and focused on helping clients move toward meaningful and lasting change, while fostering growth and a more positive outlook. I bring a relational, non-judgmental, and authentic presence to our work with laughter and genuine connection. I combine professional training with lived experience to create a grounded and compassionate therapeutic environment. Please contact me for a free consultation to see if I am the right fit for you.
