What were you doing before pursuing RMT?
I am a server and have been for the last 6 years. I also am a volunteer foster for my local animal shelter, specifically taking in senior or palliative care cats!
Why do you want to be an RMT?
I wanted to switch to a career focused on wellness that aligns more with values that are important to me!
How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school
I do English show jumping at my local barn! I also love checking out new restaurants in DT Vancouver or the greater surrounding area.
What is your favourite thing about VCMT?
The community that is fostered between your cohort! Everyone has the same goal and wants their peers to succeed. Having a community you can rely on throughout difficult courses and life events has been amazing.

They begin to practice deep tissue techniques, and to incorporate other techniques focused on joints and fascia. They are trained in basic functional assessment and home care suggestions. You can expect help with general complaints, but not advanced pathologies or specific injuries. »
