About Lora
My massage focus:
I am a proud Algonquin College Massage Therapy honours graduate (2024) with hands-on experience working with chronic and acute pain, pre/post-natal, TMJ dysfunction, post- surgical, paediatric and orthopaedic patients. As an active member of the CMTO(2025) and RMATO(2025), my treatments include focusing on improving bodily performance, function, comfort and strength. My experience with competitive dance has led me to an interest in working with clients experiencing discomfort related to hypermobility and flexibility. My goal as a therapist is to foster connection with the body by decreasing discomfort and improving problematic/painful movement. Muscle tension, fascial restrictions, trigger points, surgical recovery, chronic and acute injury are also some of my focuses. I am happy to help clients from all age ranges and athletic backgrounds.
A little more about me:
I am a previous competitive dancer, and runner. I currently enjoy staying active with weightlifting, pilates and yoga. Growing up I enjoyed expressing and exploring bodily awareness through artistic movement and dance. Having recovered from many injuries related to hypermobility and joint dysfunction, I feel as though my massage treatments help clients regain connection to their bodies and prioritize wellness long term. My experience has fostered connection with clients practising dance, gymnastics, performance strength training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. I look forward to supporting you throughout your wellness and recovery journey.
