« Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT) is a specialized form of physiotherapy prescribed to treat and improve the symptoms caused by vestibular disorders. It often involves manual head maneuvers and/or a progressive program of exercises designed to reduce vertigo and dizziness, visual issues, and/or imbalance and falls. A concussion is a “rehabilitative injury,” meaning physiotherapists can play a significant role in rehabilitation. Our physiotherapists are trained to treat concussion symptoms and subsequent dysfunctions in the visual or vestibular systems, the autonomic nervous system, motor (movement) function, and the cervical spine (neck) region. « Radial shock wave is a state of the art treatment designed to treat chronic soft tissue pain in your heels, feet, knees, elbows and shoulders. It is based on the same technology that was developed to break up kidney stones. Radial shockwave often succeeds in cases of chronic conditions involving scar tissue, adhesions, calcified tendons, fasciitis, tendonosis etc, when all other forms of treatment have failed.
