Dans ses motsLuca graduated from Queen’s University in 2017 with a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, he obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science (Summa Cum Laude distinction) from the University of Ottawa. He has completed courses in dynamic taping and in acupuncture & dry needling. He is motivated in continuing his education via courses that focus on safe, evidence-based practice that will help improve his patient’s injuries and return them to doing what they love.
Luca has worked for 5 years as a Registered Physiotherapist, delivering care in a private practice setting to patients displaying simple and complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. His treatment approach focuses on hands-on manual therapy, as well as acupuncture and dry needling, modalities, and exercise to improve mobility/function and reduce pain. He is bilingual and treats patients in both English and French.
Luca developed an interest in physiotherapy in high school, while working as a Therapy Assistant at a private practice clinic. Luca grew up playing competitive soccer for AAA and provincial teams, which sparked a passion for physiotherapy and instilled the importance of maintaining a regular flexibility and strengthening exercise regime to optimize one’s health. In his spare time, Luca enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as keeping active by playing sports (mainly soccer), exercising at the gym, and taking yoga classes.
