About Madeleine
Hi, I’m Madeleine! I specialize in working with highly self-aware individuals who tend to overthink, overanalyze, and try to logic their way through emotions. You might understand why you feel the way you do, but still feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to actually create change. Together, we'll move beyond insight and gently build your ability to experience, process, and trust your emotions. I also believe therapy is about more than just addressing problems - it’s about recognizing your resilience, embracing your strengths, and reconnecting with yourself and those around you.
I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and emotion-focused therapy to guide the therapeutic process. With IFS, we’ll gently explore the different parts of you that may be holding onto old patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving. These patterns often developed to protect you, but over time they may have become unhelpful. Together, we’ll approach them with curiosity and compassion, creating space for growth, confidence, and new ways of being. With emotion-focused and somatic (body-based) approaches, we’ll turn emotional awareness into emotional change, learning how to identify, feel, and process emotions on a physical level.
