Dans ses motsMaedeh is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 10 years of experience specializing in supporting children, youth, parents, and families. She brings a warm, compassionate, creative, and collaborative approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where children and youth can feel understood, build on their strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
She holds a Master of Science in Psychology of Family Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and is currently completing a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her background in family therapy, child-focused clinical work, and ongoing training in Play Therapy supports her understanding of children within the context of their development, relationships, and family systems.
Her therapeutic approach is child-centred, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and family-focused. She integrates Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and family systems approaches, tailoring therapy to each child or youth’s developmental stage, strengths, needs, and family context.
