I'm Marilyn, and I’m excited to be part of The Turning Point Counselling Services, where I’m dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and care. With a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and over a decade of experience supporting individuals, youth, and families, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly express your thoughts and concerns.
My approach is collaborative, drawing from narrative techniques and solution-focused strategies to build on your strengths. I specialize in working through anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship dynamics, including couples. I also understand the unique challenges that today’s world presents, including compulsive behaviors related to technology, and offer support in these areas with empathy and understanding.
As a mother of five, former grade school teacher, and leader of a volunteer organization with global reach, I bring a diverse perspective to my work. I’m here to listen, help resolve conflicts, and support you in achieving meaningful change. I look forward to working together on your journey to growth and healing!
