À propos de Mark
Dans ses motsMy path to counselling began in the wilderness. For two decades, I led multi-day hiking and paddling trips across BC and the Yukon—experiences that deeply inform my work today. I learned that even in the densest forest, there is always a way forward; sometimes it simply takes someone walking alongside you to find it.
That’s what I offer in the counselling room. Whether you’re at a crossroads, carrying more than you should alone, or sensing change without yet seeing the path, I bring compassion, curiosity, and a strong belief in your capacity to grow. You don’t have to do this alone.
I support individuals 16+ working through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and questions of meaning and identity. My approach integrates four evidence-based modalities, tailored to each client:
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Internal Family Systems (IFS)
• Narrative Therapy
• Existential Therapy
I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Outside of work, you’ll often find me enjoying nature or cooking for friends.v
