Dans ses motsMat graduated with a Kinesiology degree from University of British Columbia Okanagan, Athletic therapy certificate from Mount Royal University and Masters of Physiotherapy from Brunel University.
Mat is interested in combining manual therapy and exercise prescription, as well as an evidence-based approach to help patients get back to doing what they love.
Mat has experience working in multiple sports leagues including the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), British Basketball League (BBL), Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL), British Columbia
Premier League (BCPL) and Vancouver Rugby Union (VRU).
Growing up, Mat played and was involved with a multitude of sports including soccer, basketball, rugby, football, volleyball and
snowboarding. This active lifestyle resulted in Mat having to see
physiotherapists for various injuries, ultimately leading him to become
interested in physiotherapy and exercise science.
When not in the clinic, you can find Mat snowboarding and surfing, taking photos around Vancouver and weightlifting.
