About Maxi
Maxi’s work is grounded in over a decade of experience as an Osteopath and Nutritional Therapist, supporting people living with chronic pain and the emotional toll that often accompanies it. Through this work, she developed a deep understanding of how our bodies hold our stories—and how closely our physical and emotional experiences are intertwined.
As a counsellor, Maxi supports individuals navigating trauma, grief and loss, and chronic pain, as well as couples working through disconnection, conflict, or major life transitions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic. She welcomes those who are curious about starting therapy to reach out for a free consultation.
With a deep appreciation for the profound connection between body and mind, Maxi offers a holistic, integrative approach to therapy. She draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and body-based practices, nutritional psychology, trauma-informed Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
Maxi understands that trauma can touch every part of our lives—shaping how we feel in our bodies, how we relate to others, and how we see ourselves and the world around us. Her intention is to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported; where they can gently explore what’s been difficult, reconnect with their inner strength, and move toward healing in a way that feels authentic to them. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in that process.
