Megan Prenty, RMT
À propos de Megan
Dans ses motsMegan started her journey into the health and wellness field in 2007 when she graduated from a massage practitioner program in Vancouver. After 7 years in the field she moved to Ontario to continue her education and became an RMT in 2016. Megan is also a trained 500 hour Yoga Teacher with over fifteen years of experience teaching. In her work she aims to blend her love of anatomy, movement and self-care.
Megan is passionate about mental and physical health, with her RMT practice focusing on the postural strain, headaches, and stress management. Megan doesn't believe in the "no pain, no gain" approach. Instead, she prioritizes working within tollerance of the body to create sustainable change.
She is trained in jaw release including intra oral work. Where appropriate, Megan enjoys integrating tools like cupping and gua sha into treatments. Megan remains commited to ongoing education and to bringing new skills into her practice to better serve clients.
Outside of the clinic you'll find Megan hanging out with her best pup Leia, traveling with her spouse, or doing some kind of movement practice with her friends.

« Are you a new or even seasoned runner wanting to expand your muscle care to support your practice? This workshop is for you!
Join Megan/Alana for a 2.5 hour runners care workshop. Learn key strengthening, stretching and myofascial rolling routines to support healthy running posture. These exercises are designed to help balance the postural load required of running and help to prevent injury while supporting tissue recovery.
This workshop will cover 90 min of key strengthening and stretching exercises while learning the roles of the primary running muscles. Using resistance bands we will target important stability muscles and ones that tend to be weak to help improve running form and prevent injury. The remaining hour we will use myofascial tune up balls to support muscle and fascia recovery and health.
