Dans ses motsMehjabeen is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She works at the International Breastfeeding Centre as well as other breastfeeding clinics in the GTA. She has experience managing many breastfeeding and latching issues, assessing for tongue/lip ties, flange fitting as well any pumping concerns.
Mehjabeen saw women around her struggling with breastfeeding and saw a need in the community. For something that's meant to be easy and natural, it wasn't for some and there wasn't enough support. She started her lactation journey in 2018 and has been helping breastfeeding dyads since.

Flange Fitting in Postpartum
« This appointment is for POSTPARTUM (after baby arrives.)
A flange fitting involves a measurement of each nipple to ensure you are using the appropriate flange size while pumping. A proper fit is important for pain-free and comfortable pumping while maximizing output. Commercial breast pumps typically come with 1-2 "standard" flange sizes and MANY pumpers actually need something different.
