« A geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly population. It involves the use of hands to manipulate the soft tissues of the body to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and increase the range of motion. »Medical Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
« Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a feather-light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid out of the swollen area. It should not be confused with a traditional massage nor for its more visible cousin, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage. MLD specifically focuses on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. Therapy is gently applied to your unaffected areas first, making it possible for the fluid to move out of the affected area, or “decongest” the region. MLD helps open the remaining functioning lymph collectors and move protein and fluid into them, as well as to help speed up lymph fluid flow through the lymphatics.
This treatment type is often best for preventative and post-operative concerns, post-traumatic and post-surgical edema, as well as in palliative care. »Prenatal Massage
« A gentle, supportive massage designed for expectant mothers to ease tension, reduce discomfort, and promote relaxation in a safe and calming environment. »Therapeutic Breast Massage
« Breast Therapeutic Massage is a gentle and intentional form of bodywork that focuses on the health and function of the breast tissue, lymphatic system, and surrounding areas. It is used for both wellness and clinical purposes.
