Dans ses motsIn 2020, Mélanie completed the Massage Therapy Ontario College Advanced Diploma program at Algonquin College, finishing at the top of her class and graduating with Honours. While in school, she completed over 900 hours of hands-on training at the student clinic and through outreach placements, treating various conditions, performing prenatal and sports massages, as well as helping patients suffering from chronic pain.
Mélanie is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO). She has been working full time as a massage therapist for the past two years.
Her main goals are to help people recover from injuries and surgeries as well as ease pain and symptoms associated with chronic pain conditions. She areas of focus are helping decrease prenatal and postnatal discomfort, easing headache and migraine severity and frequency in chronic migraine and headache sufferers, as well as in managing temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction by using intra-oral and external facial massage techniques. Furthermore, she has been a Reiki Master and Practitioner since 2017.
Mélanie is fully bilingual in both French and English. She also has experience working with people that have varying degrees of visual and hearing impairments.
