As a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology student at the University of Toronto
with a Bachelor of Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria, Mia has a wide range
of experience working with children and youth across school, preschool, and community-based
settings, supporting individuals with autism, behavioural challenges, and social-emotional needs.
Mia views reflective practice and relational work as central to meaningful change. She
approaches each child with curiosity and compassion, using reflection to better understand
behaviour in context and to tailor support to each child’s developmental and emotional needs.
Mia brings a compassionate, strengths-based, and developmentally informed approach to her
work and values collaboration with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to promote
meaningful change.
