Michael Pomerleau graduated in 2018 from Algonquin College in Ottawa. He is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Michael has always been driven by a deep curiosity to uncover the root causes of issues in order to discover the most effective solutions. His personal journey through physical pain inspired him to study exercise sciences and pursue a career focused on alleviating others' suffering. Through massage therapy he discovered the profound impact that various factors—ranging from body mechanics to environmental influences—can have on us. This holistic perspective on health and wellness has become the cornerstone of his practice. This philosophy underscores his commitment to moving beyond quick fixes and instead focusing on thoughtful, personalized care. By understanding and addressing daily stressors and habits that contribute to discomfort, Michael helps clients make informed decisions that promote long-term health and improved quality of life. He specializes in sports massage, deep pressure, and hip, low back, and neck issues. In 2024, Michael proudly became the owner of Poised Massage Therapy, where he continues to apply his expertise and passion for holistic care. He thrives in the one-on-one interaction with clients, where diverse stories and perspectives help enrich the clinic. His goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone can feel welcomed and supported. With a focus on empathy and detailed attention, Michael is dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome barriers and achieve a balanced, healthier life. When he isn't working he is listening to music and trying new foods.
