À propos de Michiko
Dans ses motsMichiko (she/her) is an exceptionally experienced physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in clinical, research, education and leadership in the health care and fitness industry. She has a specialization in pelvic health and fitness, and also provides education and mentorship as a subject matter expert alongside Trans Care BC. Michiko’s personal journey with pelvic health began 10 years ago. She was experiencing burn out, depression and anxiety all while dealing with a new diagnosis of Vulvodynia (a condition that causes severe pelvic pain and has no identifiable cause). After committing to rehabilitation, she saw significant improvements and is now symptom-free 10 years and counting!
Her personal experience is a driving force behind her impeccable patient centered care. She strives to provide the type of care that anyone struggling with chronic pain deserves - placing an importance on getting to know you, listening to your concerns and formulating a plan that is meaningful to you. Combining your expertise of your own body with her physiotherapy skills and knowledge.
