Miranda is a Registered Massage Therapist with a degree in Kinesiology and a background in high level sport performance. Her history as an elite athlete has allowed Miranda to relate to the needs of her clients, and is reflected in her treatment goals.
Throughout her schooling, Miranda has had the opportunity to work and volunteer in a wide variety of settings including neuro-rehabilitation and injury-prevention at The University of British Columbia, as well as general and sport massage rehabilitation at The West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Miranda believes in developing a treatment approach based on the individual needs of each client, and offers a combination of techniques including myofascial release, joint mobilizations, deep tissue release and therapeutic exercise.
In order to always provide the best care for her clients, Miranda looks forward to continuing to build her skills and knowledge in the future with further education and continuing courses.
